Realtor® Melissa McCall Owen has joined Deltona Realty Property Management!
Melissa has nearly three decades of real estate experience, including 18 years in property management.
“Melissa has extensive knowledge of St. Johns and surrounding counties,” said Karen Palmer, general sales manager at Homes by Deltona. “That knowledge, combined with her experience in property management, will be very beneficial to both owners and renters.”
Melissa began her real estate career in the early 1980s under the guidance of her father, the late Ray C. McCall, with Palatka Realty. She and her family later opened Century 21 St. Johns Coastal in Crescent Beach. There she was a site agent for the communities of Oakbrook, Larkspur Vista, Prairie Creek and Seahaven. She also assisted with the development, planning, zoning and site acquisition of the Estuaries Condominiums.
Melissa, who holds a 4-40 Florida Insurance License, earned an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Management from St. Johns River State College. For the past 11 years, she owned and operated Gotcha Covered, a window-covering business. She and her husband, farmer Chuck Owen, have four children. Owen can trace her heritage to the Minorcans, who settled in the St. Augustine area in the late 1700s.
